Studio O’Connor is an Interior Architecture & Design Studio creating highly tailored boutique hospitality projects throughout Ireland and the UK. With a considered and instinctive approach, we work in collaboration to respect and deliver the client’s brief from inception to completion for each unique design story. We explore culture, use of space and human engagement to respond with highly atmospheric environments with authentically tailored visual identity and layered character. Specialising in complete refurbishment projects Studio O’Connor strives to maintain a highly curated portfolio of projects.

RÓISÍN O’CONNOR, Founder & Creative Director

Growing up on Antrim’s Causeway Coast and Glens,  an area of outstanding natural beauty in Ireland, Róisín’s work as a designer is heavily inspired by the natural world. Designing in a way that has an emphasis on materiality, texture and pattern allows her to be experimental while creating warm and authentic spaces with unexpected playfulness and use of colour.

Upon receiving her BA Hons in Interior Architecture from the University of Northumbria Newcastle, Róisín returned to Ireland to begin her career in the vibrant capital, Dublin. Her experience, spanning over 10 years, has seen her working along side some of the most talented and high profile mentors, clients, contractors and craftsmen in the industry.

Over the years she has overseen an array of large scale projects throughout the hospitality, commercial and residential sectors including work on some of Ireland’s most well known Hotels, Bars, Restaurants, Spas and Luxury Residential Projects. This experience broadened her design vocabulary and allowed her to push the boundaries in design to create her own unique style, informing the designer she now is within her own Studio.
